Information

The ceremony will begin at 3:30 PM. Light snacks and drinks will be available immediately thereafter, followed by a dinner served around 5:30 PM. The celebrations continue until 10:30 PM. We would love your presence at the group photo at 8:00 PM.

There is no cell phone service at the Huntley Lodge. A land line and WiFi are available. Please carpool if possible as a limited number of parking spots are available - we need at least 2.5 people per car on average!

Driving time from Seattle is approximately 90 minutes without traffic.

From I-90:

  1. Take Cle Elum Exit #85
  2. Take a left over the freeway overpass
  3. Take a right at the stop sign, this will take you to Highway 970 heading East out of Cle Elum
  4. Go approximately 6 miles on Highway 970
  5. When you see Teanaway Road on your left, take a right. There's a sign that says "The Huntley Lodge" on your right
  6. Go up the hill and take the first left. You'll go through a yellow gate and onto a gravel road
  7. Go approximately 1/2 mile and you'll see the gated entrance to The Huntley Lodge on your right

When should we arrive?

Please arrive by 3:30 PM. There will be light snacks and refreshments available prior to the ceremony.

Cle Elum is located about 1.5 hours from Seattle. If you're coming from out of town we'd recommend flying in to Seattle at least on Friday, if not earlier, to explore around the area. You can stay in Seattle or in Cle Elum depending on your preferences. Please see the lodging section for more information.

For out of town guests, we recommend renting a car and/or carpooling. You can also take a bus from the airport to Cle Elum and we can arrange transport from there for a short drive to the lodge.

What should we wear?

Please wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We will be holding the ceremony and reception outside so dress would depend on the weather. We will also have lawn games available during cocktail hour which will be on grass. Typical August weather in Cle Elum is between 80 and 90 degrees. Light, casual wedding attire is encouraged. We will have plenty of water, sunscreen, and shelter to take a break from the heat.

Are kids welcome?

Yes! The lodge has a playroom and and outdoor play area, with lots of room for exploration

There will be light snacks before the ceremony, and a buffet dinner starting around 5:30 PM. We will have wine, beer, and select cocktails at the bar, as well as refreshing non-alcoholic selections. This is an open bar event; please be sure you have a safe way home.
